By using Numexa, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Numexa (the "Service"), including the Discord bot and web platform, you agree to be
bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including Discord server administrators who add the bot to
their servers.
2. Description of Service
Numexa is a scientific mathematics computation service that provides:
- A Discord bot capable of evaluating mathematical expressions
- A web-based playground for mathematical computation
- A REST API for developers to integrate computation features
- Documentation and educational resources
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time with reasonable
notice.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree
not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any regulations
- Attempt to bypass rate limits, abuse the API, or disrupt Service availability
- Use automated tools to spam or flood the Service with requests
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
- Impersonate Numexa, its team, or other users
- Submit expressions designed to exploit or crash computation engines
- Use the Service to process, transmit, or store illegal content
4. Discord Bot Usage
When using the Numexa Discord bot, you also agree to comply with Discord's Terms of Service. Server administrators who add the bot to
their servers are responsible for ensuring their members use the bot appropriately.
We reserve the right to remove the bot from any server that violates these Terms or Discord's Community
Guidelines without notice.
5. API Usage
Access to the Numexa REST API is subject to rate limits as described in our API documentation. During the
open beta period, the API is available without authentication. We reserve the right to:
- Introduce API key requirements with advance notice
- Modify rate limits at any time
- Suspend API access for abuse without notice
- Change API endpoints with appropriate deprecation notices
6. Intellectual Property
The Numexa name, logo, and distinctive visual elements are trademarks of Numexa. The underlying open-source
mathematical engine (math.js) is licensed under the Apache 2.0 License. Our custom code, website design, and
bot implementation are proprietary.
You retain ownership of any mathematical expressions or content you submit. By submitting content, you grant
us a limited license to process and compute results from that content.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free
- Mathematical results will be 100% accurate in all edge cases
- The Service will meet your specific requirements
- Any errors in the Service will be corrected
Numexa is a tool for educational and general use. Do not rely solely on Numexa results for critical
applications, financial decisions, or safety-critical computations without independent verification.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Numexa and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect,
incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the
Service.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes.
Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
